Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. I also love the Plantagenet and Tudor novels by Philippa Gregory, and the series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin.
Where in the world do you want to visit?
I have always dreamed of traveling to Japan and the U.K.!
My mission is to give our customers an unparalleled level of service by anticipating their needs and solving their issues in a timely manner to build trust. This includes helping wherever I can by constantly learning new things from a variety of resources and helping teach my fellow teammates.
What are you typically doing on a weekend?
I can be found spending one day getting out and exploring nature, and the other day relaxing, doing laundry, and watching Netflix.

My mission is to ensure our customers are receiving the support and service they need for their business to thrive by coaching, empowering and leading the Customer Success and Operations team. This includes seeking opportunities for both Clearbridge and our customers to always strive for better.
What is your favourite Clearbridge memory?
Our Pro-D Day! We had a Pro-D Day where we discussed Clearbridge and where we were going and how to strengthen our team. I knew we had a great team before that, but seeing everyone participate and see our relationships with each other made me very thankful and grateful for being a part of such a great company and amazing group of people.
What are you typically doing on a weekend?
Camping, Kayaking, 4x4ing and exploring. They’re always filled with quality time with friends and family!
What is an interesting fact about yourself?
I’ve been lucky enough to do a lot of travelling including Europe, New Zealand and Australia. Every time I travel I make sure I do an exciting sport such as skydiving, canyon swinging or repelling!

Stopping time. I could finally catch up on my sleep.

The comradery. The morning meeting and Christmas party joking makes us feel like a cohesive team. Getting to be a family.

Father of 5 kids, 2 adopted. It definitely ain’t easy but it’s rewarding.

When I lived in the Yukon I rode through the mountains on a snowmobile to a hot spring near the top of a mountain to watch the northern lights.

My mission is to continually learn about and improve the networks, servers, systems and processes in order to set the Customer Success Team up for success, support the systems administrator, and ultimately support our customers.
What are you most proud of about yourself?
Passing the ICND2 exam and earning my CCNA through self-study alone, with no prior knowledge of networking.
Favourite book?
The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov. I first read it in a Russian literature class. The book is a political satire comprised of dark humor that depicts the cruel world of pre-war Soviet Russia. It explores the meaning of, and the ambiguity between, good and evil. The best character is a gun-wielding chess-playing vodka-drinking cat.
What is an interesting fact about yourself?
I have an obscure degree in philosophy based on the study of both natural and artificial intelligent systems, and I am semi-fluent in Mandarin.
My mission is to ensure systems remain functional and to get in front of issues so that risk is mitigated. Ensure systems are running efficiently, so as to serve the end user (whoever that may be) effectively. To constantly improve systems that are being used to ensure that the systems are never out of date and new systems can be implemented effectively. These stages might be summed up in three words: repair, evaluate, improve.

What are you most proud of about yourself?
My work and school experience, I feel confident in my abilities and enjoy what I do.
My mission is to assist Clearbridge by learning about our systems and expanding my knowledge, and using this knowledge to produce clear, concise documentation, as well as assist in technical issues where needed.

I would love to visit Israel!

I always enjoy a good BBQ Chicken pizza or Philly Cheesesteak sandwich!
My mission is to ensure development in Clearbridge is carried out in the best way to support our team and our customers using the most appropriate technologies. This is achieved through mentoring and co-ordinating the development team, setting the direction for the future while learning and evolving my skills to deliver the best possible results.
What are you most proud of?
After a bad car accident, I had to relearn to walk; I am pretty proud of myself for doing that.
What is your favourite place to travel?
I moved to the country that was my favourite place to travel to (Canada) – now I need to find a new favourite!

My phone! (It’s a convergence of several cool technologies.)
My mission is to create strategic solutions to support the continuous growth of Clearbridgers processes and workflows. I’ll continue maturing my skill set to evolve how I help deliver the best tools possible.

I listen to the OfflineTV podcast! They are a group of social content creators in LA. I love listening to them talk about what new things are going on in the world of content creation, what games they are playing, and daily life stuff.
What is the best part of your job?
I love coming up with solutions for unexpected or very niche little problems. Development is all about solutioning things so my job is like piecing together a giant puzzle.
What is an interesting fact about yourself?
I used to coach professional video games!

What are you most proud of about yourself?
Moving to a new country without any relatives or family around, graduating from a 1 year development program while taking care of my 3 years old daughter was not easy and it makes me feel proud of myself.

Sitting in a hot tub/ hot springs pool with a glass of cold beer.

I have two! Work/Life podcast with Adam Grant, and Experts on Expert with Dax Shepard. I love being inspired by other people who are hacking life and work and finding ways to apply those nuggets of information to my own life.

Favourite way to exercise?
Definitely hiking! Working hard and being rewarded with an incredible view is one of my favourite things in the world! Running is a pretty close second because Runners High is a very real thing.

When you’re not working, what do you do for fun?
I enjoy food and coffee—and when I’m not eating or drinking coffee, you can find me on my mountain bike, bombing down the hills by Ledgeview in Abbotsford.

I love to adventure. Some of my favourite ways to do that include mountain biking, trail running, hiking, climbing, kiteboarding, surfing, wakeboarding, paddleboarding, skiing and snowboarding (to name a few).

The relationships I’ve built with all of the remarkable people around me. From family to friends to the teams I’m responsible to lead—investing in people, learning from them in return, and ultimately finding opportunities to make our world a better place together is super rewarding and fulfilling.
When you aren’t working, what are you up to?
The beauty of the ways that I love to exercise is that they’re all outdoors, can be enjoyed with family and friends alike, and are all super fun [for me] to do. But when I’m not doing any of those things or working—both things I love to do—you’ll probably find me spending time with family, traveling, digging into a new book, learning something new, or planning my next adventure.
